Default Re: 240SX Rear Rotors

I bought the car from a guy on here up in Maryland. The car seemed to be in good shape and is pretty much rebuilt because it is a Salvaged car. I saw no obvious "this is a POS" signs so I went ahead and bought it after driving around for a little while.

I was happily driving back from Essex, MD to Portsmouth, VA with my new car. At certain points of the trip I noticed my rear mirror vibrating and it was obvious that the car needed alignment so I figured that's what it was so I just took it easy and sat at 65mph. It started to get a lil worse and I was just about to call him back then BAM!! The friggin wheel fell off and went rolling along the highway without me.

I call the guy up and go wtf did you just sell me? He says wow the wheel fell off that's crazy, but it's really too late to go back because I'm like another hour out of portsmouth at this point.

When I get the car jacked up and see the broken stud and no lugs in sight so I figured I'd pull one lug off each wheel, get home, and figure it out later.

*Cliff Notes*
One wheel was larger than the other side
The wheels weren't torqued down
The larger wheel fell off
A stud was broken
I'm just getting around to fixing things because it wasn't a huge deal because I have another car

The caliper is my own fault because one of my rotors depressed the breake pedal and I didn't realize what had happend. I've been told the screw back in thought but it's been hard to do so.

duude. don't mess with the calipers if ya don't know what ya doing/ yes they're screw in. they take a special tool or if you have finesse (skill in handling a difficult or highly sensitive situation) you can use like some needle nose pliers. jeesh. do you just want some new hubs? i got some 4 lug rears if ya do

hit me up on aim before ya do anything dumb again
