yea sorry havent been in town. but yea im sure i pulled the lines off right. and car doesnt it came in for a blown headgasket and thats when i found the turbo problem. the reason i was wonderin if the turbo could be leakin is cause it was just wierd how pure oil came out of turbo on coolant side but the line leading to it was full of the sludged up antifreeze. but it doesnt matter dude just wants to do headgasket and worry bout turbo later

dude, the guy is asking a tech question and you start off on how your car is faster and he should get a honda?

Seriously man, passats owns hondas. Any honda. Build quality, luxury, performance (build and tech not hp numbers obviously). You don't buy passats to tear up the 1/4, you buy passats because it's an affordable semi-luxury automobile.

You buy a honda because it's cheap.

As for the info, have you checked out the tech forums (1.8t) on the vortex? I'd assume you'd have much better luck there.

VW's are famous for the oil cooler on the oil filter housing causing a oil/coolant mix problem. I would chk that before any major teardowns.
