Default 1jz gte supra truck conversion

I have an 88 toyota pickup with an 22r carburated engine in it. I want to swap a 1jz gte into the truck. I know this may be difficult, but if i just bought a 1jz gte front clip would it be easy to just swap all the wiring, ecu ect. into the truck to make it compatable for the fuel injected engine? any advice?

yeah, take out all the wiring from your truck and use the one on the clip, you might have to extend the wiring harness(because the clip is rhd) if you want the ecu in the truck, or you can make a box in the engine bay for the ecu ...custom driveshaft, and mounts and your pretty much done with the hard part
