1g eclipse boost problem
if the actuator was screwed wouldnt that mean the wastegate wouldnt open + no blow off sound. i can hear blow off well and the pipes make it sound Spilner style
im going to try to hook the stock boost silinoid back up and if that dont work ill holler at you eric for the actuator.. (is it cool if i test to see if that solves the problem before i buy it?) i have to wait a few days because it snowed today and my ebrake was frozen and i hit a patch of ice on big bethel road and did a 180 and slid into the curb resulting in 2 busted oil cooler hoses and chipped paint on my bumper
so i must visit satan tomorrow for the parts, and also i have a cracked radiator but a fluidyne is on the way

the wastegate and the blow off valve are two independent things. If the wastegate doesn't open, that doesn't mean you won't blow off.
I could bend over backwards to get you an extra wastegate and then let you test it out, but it's going to be a hassle for me to get ahold of it, so I'm not going to do that.
It's very simple to test your wastegate actuator. Hook a pump up to it...yes even a bike pump with some fucking duct tape will work, and pump it. If it opens, it works, if not, it's broke.
If you want to buy a wastegate actuator, I can get one.

alright i fixed my oil hose problem (satan wanted $110 for each of the 2 hoses, but i had hampton rubber make both for $40 bucks
)
i connected my turbo outlet elbow to the wastegate actuator and i am getting 8-10 psi reading. this gives me a hunch that my turboxs mbc is blowed up

Yeah sounds like the boost controller isn't working, is to loose, or to tight.
Make sure its hooked up right then tighten it half way and see what it does.
My MBC if you loosen it to much will not allow the wastegate to open. Thats why I blew the head gasket in my car at the track. : (

i dont think i can take it back to where i bought it. its been a few months and when i first bought it, i took it back the next day because the set screws were screwed all the way in and stripped out
