Default 1997 silverado intake mani

Im going to be putting an Edlebrock manifold on by buddies truck. Ive never dealt with the 350 before. Anything I should look out for when doing this?

the 97 350 is a vortec motor. it has an upper and lower intake manifold. under the upper manifold there is a cpi unit that houses the injector unit. it has 8 injectors in it with 8 small hoses that are run to each intake runner. you plan on swapping the motor out to a carburetor instead of fuel injection?

never seen one of them...you have a link to one? the stock one can be difficult to remove

dude thats all carbureted manifolds. you have to replace the upper and lower to use them.

the fuck?

those are designed to be used with vortec heads, not on the trucks (unless you are wanting to go carb'd)
