1 Gen Eclipse/TALON OWNERS!!
does anyone know if there is a speed limiter on the 1st gen eclipses and talons, and what MPH is it?? just curious, oh and if there is some kind of wire I can cut to get rid of it if there is one! thanks!

I've never tried to pus mine up that high.. had it up to 125 which is where the vss kicks in and won't let you accelerate much further past it. This is a fwd though. Awd ecu's do not have vss. The reason for it were the 2g awd dsm's came with z-rated tires from the factory and the fwd came with h-rated, I believe it was.
Check vfaq.com there is a section in there about eliminating the vss and it gives more specifics on why it is there.
