Default Help!! suspension question's.............

I've got a 2wd 96 Ford Ranger XLT (3.0), I've already picked up the rims/tires that I need to start getting her ready for some puddles (I'll be getting an LSD soon enough) but Fabtech doesn't make the cheapo 2.5" lift kit for mine; only the 98 and up Rangers.

I can get a 5" kit from numerous companies but I really wasn't intending to spend 1400-2000 for a lift kit.

Does anyone know of any companies I can get a relatively cheap lift kit from? Thanx in advance!

I had a 2wd 95 ranger and was about to get that lifted. As for finding a cheap lift, in my opinion no lift is cheap. You might want to start out with a body lift.

i agree with starting out with a body lift. they run about 100$, instead of 900$. and you def get what you pay for! (this is for my bro)
