Re: Suspension Question
I have springs on my stock shocks. They work fine. Been this way for over a year. 1.7in drop. Nothing too extreme, but my friend had his DA9 slammed on stock shocks and they went for 2 years before going. Plenty of time to save up for a nice setup like Teins.

Re: Suspension Question
itll go for awhile, it will just ride like shit. Honestly the best bet is to just wait and do it all at once when youve got everything apart.

Re: Suspension Question
Lowering a car more than an inch on stock shock is a bad idea. Not only will the shock itself bottom out but the valving is incorrect for the stiffer spring rates that most aftermarket "performance" springs offer. Depending on what you are looking to do with the car should factor in the choice of shocks as well.
