ARP Head Stud washers vs. OEM
Ok im missing 1 ARP head stud washer.... yeah tell me about it, it's the only thing keeping me from basically finishing my car now.
Question: Do you think ARP increased the tensil strength on their washers? Im guessing it would be the tensil strength.
Question: Would you just try and buy 1 from ARP, or put the OEM one on?
This is for my talon in case some people don't know.

dont worry about it, use the OEM one. there is only so much you can do to harden a washer.
i do it often, for some reason most of the head bolt kits i get are missing one.
maybe the underwear gnomes are taking them as part of phase 4?
tensile strength will have precisely dick to do with a washer anyway.

I also say call arp.. I got a set of head studs from them.... two other them didn't even have threads on them.. Somehow missed that process.. They sent me another set in the mail.
