weird noise coming from rear wheel
this started to happen yesterday. there is this real annoying nail on a chalk board sound coming from my rear left wheel. i'm not sure what it could be but it only happens when i start moving so im guessing ebrake? is the brake wearing out or is it on too tight?

sounds like you went metal to metal, the brake pad wore out and is on the backing plate..thus grinding the rotor up. you might wanna yank the wheel and take a gander. good luck

it could be a wheel bearing going bad, could be metal to metal like gear said, could be a bent backing plate rubbing against the rotor. im gonna go with what gear said, i'd pull the pads out and make sure that the caliper on that rotor isn't frozen and wearing out one pad faster than the others.

not only was the brake pads bad, the caliper was also. preventing my wheel to turn freely. it was as if ebrake was on the whole time. i was wondering why i dont go backwards on hills during stop lights.
