How come you all don't like these? I know it's FWD 4-Door. But for a family car, 1 it's pretty quick, and 2 they look pretty damn nice. It's easy on insurance and it's got the Nissan VQ. It's not flashy, it's simple, and still a sleeper. Too tell you the truth, I didn't know much about it until I got an Altima, but I really think it's one of those cars you want if you want something not too flashy, you have kids and want a little power, or you can't afford insurance on something a little more sporty.

And i was expecting op to own an ser, because that would help his argument. But i am wrong.
I'm with OP. I have a 2005 Altima, though it's the smaller engine, the 2.5. However, I have the SL model so it has all the options.
It's definitely not a go-fast car but it's comfortable, economical, and I'm happy with my purchase. With a baby on the way, it's also roomy enough. Different strokes for different folks.

Sorry OP, you're not that slick.

I don't own an SER, but I own an SE? yea it's an Altima but I took it to richmond dragway and still walked a 6MT 350Z with a full exhaust, and I just had a CAI and Y, twice... He was shocked I was running what I run. I don't care if a Z or whatever looks cooler. It's practical, inexpensive, and I don't get raped in insurance. Also I'd rather own that than something I could fine like a built civic. Dollar to Dollar, you can't get better than that.
