I can't remember what the GSR head pattern looks like, but is it possible you put the head gasket back on rotated the wrong way?

How are you sure you're not getting oil to the head? Do you have oil pressure? I'd imagine if you blocked the oil off like that, you're pressure would be pegged.

Listen to him.

smartest motherfucker on the board.

hands down.

Pull the head off, get a new gasket, and make SURE its on the right way before you torque it down.

Well I guess the best thing for me to do now is take the head off..and check the head gasket... I am not getting oil pressure I believe...I am wondering could it possibly be the oil pump? Or maybe oil pick up gasket

Yeah, it could be one of those things. Anything that you moved, removed, replaced, etc., you should check to see that it's functional and reinstalled properly. It's probably something fairly simple that you didn't catch when you were putting something back together.

I think you can install the head gasket only one way because it has different bolt patterns all around. He could have forcedly installed it the wrong way.
