help with b16 knock sensor

Default help with b16 knock sensor

my 00 honda civic si is throwng code number 23 which is the knock sensor.. i found the knock sensor and there is one there but nothing pluging into it.. what should i look for? also is it ok to drive like this it seems to drive normal... thanks

yea obd2... yes knock sensor is there but there is no wire or connector comin from it... and i dont no what wire to plug into it

or should i just run my own wire?? do u no where the knock sensor wire goes into the ecu?

...well maybe the connector just got disconnected and is now just hanging out in the open....

ya i just replaced mine today, its a one wire plug, the plug is green, and if your shooting code for it, it can cause vtec to not engage or retard your timing from it. i wouldn't recommend getting on your car to you fix it really
