Default S2000 heads, chime in. (Hardtop issue)

Alright, so I have the mugen replica hardtop. (This one)

well, when it rains the hardtop leaks. I'll get drips coming in from both sides. The windows dont seal properly as if they are off track (which they arent, they seal perfect with the soft top) It has the rubber weather stripping all the way around it, but I was curious as if anyone else has had this problem and if they fixed it? Any suggestions? (Cant put soft top up for rain/it has a tear and forget replacing it) I also get wind noise above 65mph if windows are rolled up, but I put cardboard between the latches to pull it tighter. Any recommendations ?

I've never looked at an s2000 hard top and how it mounts/latches. But I've fixed similar problems in my del sol by adjusting the mounting points, so the latch/seal is tighter.

See if you can get more clamping force. If that doesn't fix it you might want to add or remove and add some weather stripping.

Then you may have to deal with it.

Either sell it and repair your soft top, or get a different hardtop.

My hardtop doesn't leak in the rain, and no wind noise.

Shin etsu grease might help a little. I've got a pretty big tube of it. I'll try to get it to you sometime this weekend.

Shin etsu works great for small leaks. I haven't had any problems with the soft top on my AP2, but had some minor leaks on my AP1. A good rubbing of shin etsu took care of it. All it does is make the rubber swell a little, and gets rid of any dry spots where water can be slipping by.

Does the Shin etsu leave marks if handled?
