the cleanest 98 gst all service records from day 1
2g dsm's do have the 7 bolt 4g63s's which are known to be a bit weaker tham the 1g's, they are known for crank walk but thats primarely the AWD models, people dump the clutches expecting them to hold up, this one has not been abused synthetics oil changes have almost all recepts for them, the car burns no oil, and runs solid, so to answer your question d-series hondas are known to throw rods due to weaker rod bolts than b-series, but that doesnt mean they throw rods, there are plenty DSM's w/ 200k+
but I also wanted to clear up, I have had a gst that did walk on me, when none of my GSXs have even had signs of it. After owning 7 DSMs and building 3 of them I feel I know a 'little' something about the issue. However, this is almost never happens people...so do not let that scare you away from a good deal on a clean car. again... gl
like i said earlier w/ the honda anology just cuz something has happened to a few cars doesnt mean all of them do it, thanks for clearing it up tho, they are good cars if maintained properly but turn to junk quuck if they fall in the wrong hands
i might drive it and have to buy it tho, and i can't convert from honda to DSM! lol, if ur not converting i kno i def. shouldnt!!
