2g dsm's do have the 7 bolt 4g63s's which are known to be a bit weaker tham the 1g's, they are known for crank walk but thats primarely the AWD models, people dump the clutches expecting them to hold up, this one has not been abused synthetics oil changes have almost all recepts for them, the car burns no oil, and runs solid, so to answer your question d-series hondas are known to throw rods due to weaker rod bolts than b-series, but that doesnt mean they throw rods, there are plenty DSM's w/ 200k+

Dumping the clutch has nothing to do with the crankwalk issue, but that is neither here nor there. Nice car and good luck with the sale!

thanks for the possitive feedback guys, znd dumping the clutch is a huse contributing factor, if it hooks and you have significant power from the flywheel to the clucth, the main bearings are gonna take some abuse, but yea neither here nor there
thanks for the bumos

i was under the impresion that crank walk only happened (or was ALOT more common) in the 7 bolts 95-97. and i allso thought they went back to 6 bolt in the 98 model?

either way bump for the cleanest dsm i have seen in a long while. wish i had the money... mine went boom... GL with your sale. might maybe have to talk to the bank though.. don't quote me on it but i do want it!!
