i have a 96 gsr. i swapped my gsr tranny with a 00 si tranny, my speedometer is bouncing all over the place when i get on it. sometimes it goes with the tach and the same time. i already swap two speed sensors, the gear for the speed senor. i was told it could be a ignitor problem since those are the symptons. someone help me out here.

 

The speed sensor might be loose....?

 

It is most likely something wrong where the speedo gear is spinning.

 

same thing happens in my swapped integra espacially when vtec kicks that things everywhere but as long as my tach dosent do it im fine

 

Check your sensor ground on you t stat housing

 

 

what is this suppose to do.

 

I just had the same problem and thats all it was. check the plug(connections)

 

hit your dash a couple of times that should fix it
