Like i said before, if anybody listened, if you got the connections and can do the labor yourself, then you can do this cheaper. there is always a way to do things cheaper, or nobody would ever make any money at anything. Walmart sells all their merchandise cheaper, yet the owner died worth 90 billion dollars. So somebody has to make money or we don't pay bills. if you have the talent, can get the parts cheap, then he's right. But i don't work out of my garage at my house and i don't spend hours and hours hunting down the absolute cheapest deals on the planet. That's for people who have budgets and live check to check. I sit in my office and pay people to work for me. But do you guys honestly expect me or any licensed and insured business to stop making money to do a swap for you guys for free? Does anybody really understand this concept? I've stated this before and i'll say it again....you can do this cheaper, so contact these few guys, give them $5k and demand they do the swap for you free of charge....there is always a desperate kid out there that wrecked his rsx and needs money badly so he'll sell his swap with 90,000 miles with no warranty on k20a.org and you can buy it and take a chance. you can let this moderator do the swap with no warranty and if he screws your car up i'm sure he's got insurance or cash to cover everything....

My point was for the person who buys this swap to give it a shot! Its not that hard friends, don't be affraid.

Get a couple buddies together, find the right tools, basically hand tools and a drill with those bits to drill out welds for the pass side, and finding drill piece to make the holes for the 2 long bolts of that pass side mount. Not that hard. Beyond that its cake! I wouldnt hire anyone to do this for me, i literally have a 300 dollar piece craftsman hand tool set, borrowed a buddys engine cherry picker, and went at it!

Also if anyone is really interested in doing this themselves, hit up the best site for K series info www.k20a.org

You're stupid....

Now, i got 3 swaps at my shop, one in a car and 2 wrecked rsx type s...(got one in this week with 60k miles). I didn't pay $4500 for the wrecks, so that's how i do this cheaper. Remember i can sell or use the bodyparts of the car ... leather seats, wheels, airbags, doors, rear hatch all fetch really good money. The wrecked car also comes with stock shift linkage (that's a little change saved).

So Mr. Sandos is correct is saying you can do this swap cheaper. I'm sure he's got all the connections to do it. and i'm sure he own's a k swapped car, a shop, makes lots of money and gets all the girlies.....right?

Damn was that me? Oh yea thats right I did just sell a K series hatch back in November. Trust me my friend I have researched K swaps a lot. If you take your time and find deals then you can have it done for around 6-7k. You don't have to buy full swaps. Thats where people spend most of their money.

holy fuck what a rip off, you can get a wrecked RSX S for $2.5-$4k at a insurance auction, use stock harness (no kro) and with axles/mounts etc... you looking at $5-$6k tops.
