I assume you are referring to the 1uzfe, the lexus 4.0 v8? Nobody makes a kit for it. A few people have done the swap successfully in a 2g 4runner but there is not a kit for it.
Downey does make kits for the 3.4L which is the most popular swap also the 5mgte is becoming quite popular these days and of course your typical ford and chevy small blocks.
You will find tons of info on the swap(s) at www.yotatech.com and www.pirate4x4.com

The 350 swap is the best you can do IMO, everything is made prefabed and laid out. I still have an LT1 motor in my garage that I was gonna drop in my '88 but sold it.
Send a PM to "broke neck", I sold it to him and I think he blew the motor and may have it sitting for just parts,

You can correct me if I am wrong but I believe a chevy small block is a tight fit. I know on the 2g 4runners it requires beating on the firewall to get it to fit and I am assuming it is the same on the 1g 4runners.
Regardless... an lt1 is a sick swap. However, be prepared to invest in some stronger axles down the road if you go with this swap.

great post guys, i really into doing things that have never been done before and i seen a ls1 and a 4.7 yota they are pretty much the same layout where the mounts are located, so was just going to get my shop welder to mod the motor mount kit for the ls1 to work for the yota motor.
whats the different between the 3.4 v6 and a 5mgte?

The 3.4L 3RZ-FE was toyotas way of saying, "We know we fucked up on the 3.0L 3VZE so we will make a better version of it." and it is just that. The 3.4L is found in the 96-02 4runners, tacos and t-100's. Optionally TRD also makes a supercharger for the 3.4L
The 5mgte is an early turbocharged supra motor.

Yeah I can vouch, the SC is a nice upgrade, but nothing compared to a 350. When/if the sc ever blows my motor then I'm goin' with the 350, to save on gas, lol.
I wish I had looked into swaps before I purchased a new motor. Oh well... it gives me time to work on my sas and dual t-case.

I know how much bad engineering went into the 3VZE, just look at the exhuast manfolds. i had to replace my rear cam seals and valve cover gaskets on my motor last month, well someone tell me why in the hell there is a fuel injector in the top of the intake manifold. i have one more thing to say, never buy a hanes repair book, they fucking suck, the instructions for removing the intake was 5 steps, that where like five word long sentences.
i can rebuild just about anything but something tells you what senos and vaccum hose are would of be nice, like i said fuck hanes ,
