most people do upgrade the streering, after adding a decent size lift, at least a lot of the bigger xterras have to.

I really wish they would have told me about that, so I could have just had them upgrade the steering when they did the lift.

Another question:

Any place around here sell 31"x10.50 swampers and for how much?

I got it back, test drove it around the are and the steering was still fucked. So, I turned around and took it back. They said it needed a few hundred miles to break in. I called the manufacturer of the lift kit and they said it was an actual problem and that breaking it in wouldn't help. So, now it's back at pungo for the third time and I've told them this time that I'm not going to even think about taking it back until it works just like it did before.

Well, the younger guys who work there might fit that description, but there's a few guys who seem like they know what they're doing. The problem here is that they've messed my steering up and are having trouble realizing it is actually messed up. The thing used to turn with a flip of the finger but now it takes 2 hands and if I let go of the wheel, it doesn't come back to the starting position.

the gap is normal since most body lifts don't come with the brackets. you'd probably have to buy some. the steering is jacked though. contact larry at http://www.cornfedsuspension.com/ about some swampers.
