Re: local shop questions
Honestly, I think that light bars need to go back to the 80's - 90's trucks.
You have the lower driving lights, I would maybe try and get them brighter. Also it would save more money for other mods.
The majority of the time light bars sit so far back on extended cabs, four doors, SUVs that they don't even look that great.
My thing is unless your running the Baja 2000, on safari, a recovery truck . . . . Its just not needed. Same thing with those damn snorkel kits.
I think you have sweet looking truck! I've always liked the Colorado. Yours is set up pretty nice so far. Save that cash for something else man!
Under hood mods, suspension, locker, gears. . . .
As far as a shop to go to.... Duane and his shop is a stand up guy and business! He has a thread where he has some of the work they have put out.
I just wish it wasn't so far from me.

Re: local shop questions
If you're on 355nation are you on coloradofans.com? There is an old thread where someone got a used 4.10 rear with the g80 and bolted it to his Coly. As for performance, you have two intakes (k&n and something else) and exhaust. Not much else to up the power.
By the look of your bumper I'd say you've got a body lift? Have you done the 2" shackle/TB crank? That will add some more height without shelling out 1800.

Yes i am a member of both those sites. I have the k&n CAI along with a cherry bomb vortex dual exhaust. Only performance mods left i know of are a pre cat gut (free), ported TB(~$200), headers (~$500) and a PCM tune(~$300). Therefore id have to gut, port, header and regear before i tune
I have a 3 in body lift with a 2.5 in leveler so crank and shackles wouldnt do much or so ive been told
