Default I purchased a truck the other day from suffolk.. anyone recognize it?

hey guys i'm cj,

im just trying to find out some info on this truck i just bought. I have the original sellers user name but not enough posts to pm him... it was located in the va beach area. The story I got from the seller didnt make any sense once did alittle research. The seller says he didnt own it very long so i figure he made some stuff up to make me feel all warm a fuzzy. haha i didn't care i wanted the truck.

my main interest is what work was done to the engine...injectors or pump work?

the truck needs injectors and i dont want to install factory injectors if it has bigger ones..

better yet why don't you look under the hood and see if anything is not stock.
look for an aftermarket exhaust header / intake.
I highly doubt that anyone willing to spend the money on new pistons or camshaft is going to skimp on airflow.
If you see a performance intake then I'd def call the seller and save yourself the trouble of cracking the block.
If not then just go with stockers. ...or just play it safe and get some 42#ers

Not very familiar with diesels are you?

OP, A quick search on google will tell you about the banks sidewinder kit which is what it had when Zach sold it. Boyond that your going to have to get your post count up and just send him a message. He has had a few nice trucks so Im sure it was put together well.

How the hell did you not do any research on a vehicle, before purchasing it?

Going by the ad, he said he didn't turn the pump up. With the injectors, I'd look to see if that sidewinder kit came with any, or what that kit calls for for your poundage/cc numbers.
