dude dont be lazy and try to half ass this job, put a wrench on the tensioner pully loosen up the belt/remove it then put the chain wrench around the fan pully and get the job done
You need to go to Auto Zone and rent the special tool you need. The kit you recieve will consist of several different wrenches, one of these wrenches will fit snug around the bolts for your fan clutch; that provides enuph back pressure for you to break loose the fan. This is definatly a 2 man job. I recently did this, its an easy job but impossible without this tool. Also double check to see if the large nut is or is not reverse threads.

im not being lazy, everything i have read has not involved taking the belt off......
these wrenches that you speak of, i realize that there is a bolt there but there is only one that i see, what else am i supposed to hold onto or in this case put the other wrench that somebody else is going to hold on to on, the bolt that you can see which is between the fan and the pulley is 7/8 and it is reversed thread, but like i said, this is the only thing that i can see.....

actually i just stumbled upon this, so im going to go and get these wrenches and hopefully get this shit fixed so i can meet up with you guys on sunday

yes i can read that you are in virginia beach. i meant what part. i was gonna give you a hand because i am just that nice. anyway i have done tons of these and it is really more technique than it is skill.
