thats not really a comparison. dealerships can offer you that high price because theyre going to make up for it when they bank 7k off the car you trade it in for.

I don't blame him...I have had a truck for sale for about 6 months and haven't had much luck either. I have a lot of time in that truck, but no one seems to appreciate it! Best offer I had on E-bay was $1400, and CarMax offered $1200...sucks.

I will be doing a bit more to mine before I put it up again. Not so much customizing and personalizing. The interior is going to a solid color, touching up some more stuff...hopefully I will have better luck when I relist it...

I have had about a dozen people tell me they wish they had the money since it's a great deal and all....I wish they had the money too!!

you haven't sold it because you have it priced too high. i just bought an 08 wrangler x with a 6" kit on 35's with 18" wheels for $18k. about 3 months ago i bought an 04 rubicon with about 9" of lift on 36's for $13k. i'm not trying to jack your thread or anything, but it's pretty simple to figure out why your truck hasn't sold.

not oh shit its an 04 but....ok its a tj and its an x soooo you have a slightly better sterio than a sport. x has the option to go dana44 front an rear out the factory but you have to order it that way and you havny listed it so i would assume you dont have it. look into dropping a ls1 or hemi swap in it, switch the short arm to 5"" LA WITH SOME 35s and you might hit 9 ...maybe 10 or so cuz of the engine

just gonna have to face up and bite it. built rigs with after market cage 8.8 rears or better some kind of locker, winch, bumpers, sliders, lights, Slip yolk eliminators, and LONG ARM LIFTS 5"-6" with body lift go for what your askin or less even.

please dont take me for an asshole but someone who has sold TONS of fuggin vehicles
well said. it is a nice jeep. but for the market looking for something like that, its priced too high.
being a jeeper for many many years.....i've seen VERY built TJs, sell for a lot less than that price.

also, keep in mind that its a buyers market. not only are most people NOT looking for a gas guzzling Jeep on 35's.......but IF they are, they are looking for a low price.

maybe think about taking all the goodies off, then selling those, and then selling the TJ as stock (like somebody above said, more of a market)
