Re: Wrecked my WRX
Har har.
Its still better than the 08 models they ruined. I needed a brand new Impreza that would suit my driving needs and it just happened to be the year 2007.
They're still better than the older models. I mean they're not the legendary bug-eyed but they're more powerful and they come with warranties :-D
Just to be clear on "driving needs" I mean I needed a car with:
-Good gas mileage
-good power
-manual transmission is a big plus
-AWD for all types of weather (I live in the mountains)

Re: Wrecked my WRX
Whoops, sorry I thought I posted an update. Damages were $5200 and they found out i have more frame damage so it's gonna be about $5600 now and will take an extra week so I'm not getting it back til freaking close to Hyperfest June 21...
The whole front car shifted slightly towards the passenger side and the front brace that holds the radiator and hood latched caved in, pulling the fenders together. They are replacing my bumper, hood, belt cover, fans, radiator and headlights so far. They are also cutting part of the front frame off and replacing it IIRC.
Again, insurance will cover ALL of the it.

Re: Wrecked my WRX
I finally got my WRX back last night!
I was supposed to pick it up in the AM and they heard belt squeal and It was stripping so they had to keep it for the rest of the day to get a new belt put in.
And the car looks SWEEEEEET!
Final total costs: $5900+.
Wow.
I found bumper rub/scratching between the headlight and bumper so I'll have to get that looked at sometime when I have free time.
God I miss boost...

Re: Wrecked my WRX
Naw the first deer was a fat preggo and the second deer was a tiny dumb one.
Just last week 2 deer died on the same turn and now they're just bones laying on the side of the road. One of my tires is low on air so I may have run over a loose bone.
I have a bone to pick with the deer.
