there still are places ot run at, its just not so close anymore. Me and some friends head out into the country area once in a while on a little 2 lane straight country road and can gets lots of runs in.
Its a little bit of a drive to get there but no traffic or pain in the ass cops or anything.
I remember the racing at the shell station, i never watched them b/c i was too youing but our house is right off of rt 50 and i could hear the cars running all night long.

My favorite memory goes back to V street. It was a typical Friday night, plenty O' runs going on. That was until a cop sneaked in behind two cars getting ready to run. Of course everyone beggin to scatter like roaches under the lights. He pulls alongside the Prelude, proceeds to power brake the cruiser, lights flashing (smoke rolling from the fenders). It was hilarious, everyone was cheering the cop on.
