if you only knew.....the camaros are the most obvious ones. i have done a few cars that only have one cell antenna. hidden strobes in the marker lenses, headlamps, and bumper (yes, they are legal for them. emergency vehicles have certain approved lighting equipment that the general public cant have. ) LED strobes that are hidden in the sunshielding in the top of the glass. flip down strobes on the visors.

repeater antennas in the package tray, and satellite communication via XM style antenna on the roof.

did one a while ago that was maroon, and had all kinds of VT magnets on the side, and had VT windflags on the windows that hid his external radar detectors. i crack up hearing people bitch about that one

the station wagon around here is classic too.

its a check, happens at the beginning of every shift. takes about three minutes. they are calibrated by an independent company every few months, and there should be a record of the calibration on file at the station.

 

This muthafukker Jenkins plays the numbers game... plain and simple, the more tickets he gives out the more $$$ he makes for the dept, most of the tickets get prepaid and ppl dont' bother missing a day's work w/0 pay to fight them

Days work of pay > $45 ticket...for most

He could care less if he "loses" in court, this bastard is racking in the dough for FFX county.

Welcome to the Communistwealth of Virginia, Fuckfax County. What I don't understand is why only FFX enforces every bullshit law on the books.

I've had my share of bs equipment violations, like my last exhaust ticket. I got stopped one night for exhaust, and the cop wrote me ticket. All he said was, its illegal and i'm going to issue you a summons......he wouldn't say how or why either. All he said, was "its for the courts to decide"

This whole thing with exhaust and aftermarket mods is nothing more than a moneymaking scam. When I went to court, every one of his tickets were for exhaust, suspension, etc. The judge didn't care what anybody had to say, even if they had documentation stating it was legal. Basically everyone was found guilty, unless they brought proof the mods were removed. The judge was even laughing at one point, joking with the officer "another coffee can exhaust, right?" guilty of unnapproved equipment.

As for police targeting car enthusiasts, specifically imports, this couldn't have been said any better than by the devil himself. This was told to me by a FFX County cop "We specifically target imports, mainly Japanese, because they are typically driven by teenagers who have a higher perpetuancy for street racing"

As we know, all car enthusiasts are h4rdcor3 street rAcers, who put the lives of the motoring public at risk by racing in rushhour traffic and residential streets.

 

I still need people to help out. Would anyone be willing to go to court about Jenkins? Or call the P/D I/A. Iam going to print this stuff off and give it to my girls mom so she can show the F/F P/D. I need all the info you guys can get.

Scroll through it, you'll see most of it is full of traffic violations. I couldn't tell you whether that is how many there should be or not but it sure out numbers the listings for crimes unrelated to cars and such from what I skimmed through. Someone should check out the website for more statistics to see how much money the county is making from traffic stops. A lot of info can be found on the fairfax website.

so the fact that it is a large county, with a large majority of the drivers being stupid people that are riding around with illegal equipment, is the problem for the state police?


FYI: state police is HIGHWAY. and they are there to assist local PD's when the need arrives, with their special tactical forces and investigation teams. the fact there is a large amount of traffic violations is the same reason there are a large amount of troopers there: it is one of the highest populated counties in the state.

everyone that bitches about a trooper giving them a ticket when they should be "catching the real criminals" obviously does not know that the troopers are for traffic, the local and county PD's are for criminal.

there is a reason why a majority of people that drive a "coffecan exhaust performance import" are pulled over. mainly has to do with stupidity....
