Default wheel re-finishing and widening?

Anybody know of shops in the area that widen wheels, or repair them?

I personally use Transwheel Corp. in maryland for refinishing, fixing bends and cracks etc. Ye Old Wheel Shop does the same thing and is a little bit close to nova. Wheel Worx is in Maryland also, but I have had nothing but problems with them so far. For the widening part, I have no idea...good luck.

the widening is easy to do, but i heard it's a really bad idea...otherwise i'd get mine widened to 9" all the way around

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I'll call those places tomorrow....

I picked up a set of Volk Superfins from Japan for my 7, but they're not wide enough, and have definitely seen better days... only paid 200 bucks though...

yeah i have BBS RK 1 piece, but i think it is bad for them structurally...i'm interested in widening the rear to 9" wide so my tire stagger will actually be on staggered wheels

I don't understand why it would be bad for them... if done right, the weld should be stronger than the two pieces of metal being welded...
