We are EFI Certified!!
As some of you may know, this past weekend I headed down to Georgia to take some classes. I sucessfully passed the EFI-101 course. This weekend I am heading back to GA again to take the EFI Advanced class. Upon completion this weekend, I will be 1 step closer to the accredited EFI Level I Certification. I am very excited to post this information as not many (if any) shops in our area have sent any techs out to obtain these certifications. Its been said over and over, anyone can buy a dyno, anyone can operate a dyno, however not everyone are tuners.... Here is some info that we read from EFI University's website in regards to why all of the techs at Pro-Motion Tuning will be certified EFI Tuners in the coming months.
EFI University is the only High Performance Engine Tuner's Certification program in the world! Their program has been modeled after the successful "ASE" certification program for Automotive mechanics. Graduates of EFI University school can confidently show that they are fully qualified to tune EFI equipped engines!

"When you look at any service oriented business such as Doctors, Lawyers, Plumbers, or even Auto Mechanics, there is always some governing body which serves the public by ensuring that someone who wishes to practice in the field is qualified to do so. There is always a logical process of education and clearly defined steps toward becomming certified in that field.
That holds true for every industry except the high performance engine tuning industry!
No experience necessary, no prior knowledge...just buy a dyno, do some searching on the internet, or read a few books on tuning and suddenly "POOF" another tuner open for business!"

Thanks guys... Just got back from the Advanced class... Definitely looking forward to applying the skills, however its not an overnight success so it will take time before I am close to the knowledge of tuners doing this for years...
Also we have a new addition to our Tech staff... Official announcement later this week as well as an addition to our Sales and Tuning staff...
