actually we can dissuade him... because this is the dumbest thing you could ever do to a car... ever. your friend is 15 right now, and he's gonna get a gsr, and some underbody lights... once he actually gets his license, he'll realize how much of a tool he'll look like w/ them on, everyone will look at him funny and laugh... also, underbody lights do nothing but harm the entire image of the car scene... underbody lights scream that you are reckless and will cause other "modified" cars to be pulled over

actually if he gets a gsr, then you both will have the same car, and when someone sees his car and asks you what kind of car you have, you understand you have the same car... great things aboutr rx7s... almost NOONE rices them out and apc doesn't make altezzas for them

.. I just had to get that out of my system.
If the owner likes it good for him and that's his own opinion, and if I don't like it (which I f*ckin hate it), that will be my own opinion.
Like someone else said already ricers give the car community a bad name. They dress there cars up to get MaD PrOpZ Yo, and then drive like jackasses to get even more attention.

Think about what you just said, honestly. "These ricers are stupid they give STREET RACERS a BAD NAME". Do you not realize that you ARE a street racer and 99.9% of your mods are ILLEGAL as well? You consider yourself a 'street racer' b/c you STREET RACE, but yet you have the guts to tell someone else otherwise b/c you don't want a bad name. And don't tell me you never raced on the street either and only take it to the track. We have had our fair share of illegals activities and have gotten quite a few skeletons in our closets. I admit, even I do stupid stuff sometimes but I shouldn't be penalized for liking what I liked. Well sorry my mods in my car aren't as expensive as yours, i.e. APC. But guess what? I like it. Like I said, it's not what they put on their car, IT'S HOW THEY PRESENT THEMSELVES. Someone with a bunch of APC mods and useless stickers on their car can drive normally and obey laws most of the time as oppose to some stupid Civic that does burn outs and do donuts infront of a cop.

actually i've never street raced before, so maybe you should rephrase your answer. and i'm not bullshitting you, its pointless ninety-nine percent of the time... i don't consider myself a street racer, nor did i ever say that. i consider myself a car entusiast who enjoys my car to the fullest extent. i enjoy the car, i enjoy the scene, and i don't enjoy being pulled over because another "street racer" got in a one-hundred mile-per-hour crash into a school bus... the fact remains that underbody lights attract attention to your car, and its usually unwanted attention. whether you like it or not, its common for a cop to pull over a similar car for another car's problem... why do you think cops look for people with altezzas? because its a thing that you put on your car saying: i'm irresponsible when i drive. why do you think that REAL car enthusiasts never do that? because we are in the car scene for one thing: the cars. it seems like your brother is in the car scene for one thing: attention. when you want attention, go elsewhere, because at least it won't harm my form of enjoyment.
