Default Trails?

Anyone on here know of any local trails? I just recently lifted my Durango and would like to try it out on some nice easy trails in the area. Also is anyone on here part of a local 4x4 group of some type I could join? Or maybe your just looking for a second, third, fourth.. guy to go along with?

Where exactly are you located? I know of a trail that's pretty easy.. it's gravel/dirt - and I took my explorer and WRX on it. It's not very long.. but it's decent.

I am in about 1 minute away from mount Vernon , or about 2 minutes from old town. Any more details on those places posted earlier? like an address near by or land marks to look for?

Thanks! Larry

Just look for dulles mail facility or post office. Its like 5-10 min from the airport. Some there most of them are for dirt bikes and 4 wheelers but enough for you to have fun. People might tell you to can't go there. When I got my 4 wheeler I was riding behind my house, someone called the cops and the cop TOLD me I could go there. Let me break in my truck and I will go with you. Might be able to get some friends to go to.

That will get you in the area. You should be able to find it from there.

go to the "shit trails", it's where 495 goes over telegraph or that road that comes down along 495 from Hoffman center. you get into it from behind the luxury auto sales place or whatever it is on the corner there. just go down the street till it ends and then around to the right and back to the trail.
