Tint Shop In NOVA
WHats up guys? Got a quick question. I'm in Iraq right now, and when I get back this spring, I want to tint the ride out. Got any suggestions on a good shop with good prices in the NOVA area? I'd search the site, but I don't exactly have a lot of time to spend on here. Thanks for the help.
Just letting everyone know that those shops use computer cutouts... leaves gaps around the edges of the windows... Thats why its such a cheaper price.. you click and the machine cuts out the shapes of the windows.. they are generic shapes leaving room for gaps.. Some cars you can get away with the computer cutouts, others you cant.. especially the benz with their frameless doors, the rear windows on trucks....
Just letting everyone know, not hating on anyone... but thats why STARS has good prices and they use solarguar i beleive for their tint, just like VA tint at quality tire

Yep, that's why I chose the guys at quality tire, Kevin and all them are top notch. So they have a computer print out sheet, so be it, the cops are eventually gonna mess with you to the point it's gonna have to be removed anyway. I could never tell a difference when they did my car, but maybe I just got lucky that day.
or you just dont know what to look for....
Some shops cater to diffrent customers... I know the past shop i worked at had all the high end cars.. rarely did we do any everyday cars... But then again it was the workmanship that was offered along with the best tint that is out worldwide... no other shop carried the film or could offer it in northern va.. so to each their own.....
But i know of only one other shop that offers hand cutouts and shaving the edges.. you cant even tell where the line begins on the window.. Go to sema, ha ha there wont be any computer cuts there! but again it all depends on what kind of job your looking for....

Well, then there's that too. I guess I didn't realize I was driving some POS out there, my bad brotha. I knew what I was looking for, something to conceal my cage and I got it. I don't need the edge right up against the window that only a show car judge is gonna wanna inspect. I kick rocks all over your show cars on the highways, so buy some extra clear coat for that top dollar car buddy. Turbo honda spitting rocks spinning through 5th, peace!
WOW, what a truely eye opening remark. To be honest, no my car is not slow. If you know me, remember me or knew what kind of mark I left in NOVA before I left the streets you really wouldn't be making that statement. I helped set the tone for what street cars should be around here and I was one of the few that had a real street car. I've been gone a minute, but i'm also probably one of the longest members on this board and the older ones know who I am and what I accomplished. Your remark means absolutely nothing to me, it was a foolish statement by someone who must be new to the scene. I mean seriously, that 750 you got couldn't of handled my car. And with the new one getting ready to be built, you're definitely out of your league. Nice try on that sarcastic comment about a movie that probably got you into the whole car scene .
Dude, relax. ive seen ur vids. just making jokes. i dont, and pretty sure know one else cares how fast u really are. get over it. and for my 750, bring it. open gates.
