SlowSpool- I have called STARS and they told me over the phone they use solargaurd and that they do computer cutouts.... and there is NO way they can use F1 film.. so they lied to you or you are lien.. that film is llumars top of the line territorial film and LA tint has the account with them and LA tint wouldnt let STARS carry that film.. ALSO F1 is not the best film out there.. its GOOD yes... but llumar has an ever nicer level and HUPER OPTIK is the best film out on the market.. its a dual layer of cermic, rejects an enormous amount of heat and for a 4-door car its around 550$ at most shops... check them out if you dont beleive me.. huperoptikusa.com.. AND for framelss cars.. those are the EASEIST to do! whyd you even bring that up?... again i am not hating just showing the reason why one tint shop can be cheaper then another and you come along trying to correct?......

AND those TC doors are cake to take apart..

seeing their work? its the same work liek LA tint or any other shop with a computer.. anyone can slap film onto a window..i mean seriously...you can tell between a computer cutout and a handcut... Go to cali tint and just see for yourself.. they have teh machine but NO one ever chooses to go with computer cutouts... and I dont even work there...

i dunno where you are getting your info from but the sources need to change....my best advice is to do your homework before you start trying to correct...you have been wrong in about everything you stated.. not trying to be a dick but dont correct me or anyone when they are right

AGAIN i never said STARS or any other tint place was a bad shop or anything along those lines.. IF they were a bad shop just like anything else they wouldn be in business that long and they have proved that to be false because they are doing good... i hope the bext for them...

he hangs out at stars everyday. but i dont know what they use. but our other friends do own formula 1 / La tint so maybe its a hook up between the two shops?

edit: i think they just use solar guard as well, thats what they say on the myspace. but they do tinting and detailing, so its not just a tint shop

I went to Tint Shope in Woodbridge, been on for almost 2 yrs. No probs. I think it cost like $150 or something and that was through a hookup.

its against the law to resell film from another company to customers or another company.... you have to have a business acount and yaddah yaddah...especially since its an exclusive film.... ive tried, thats just the way things are....

It is Solar Gaurd, I got it mixed up with my friend who runs a LA TINT and uses the F1 tint, my bad on that one.....still I know for a fact they didn't say they only do cut-outs, they do tons of hand cutting, STARS hand cut all the cars I brought to them, they havn't had a single complaint from me or any of the cars that have gone up there! For you to say they are only a computer cut out tint shop is totally wrong...Ive personally seen easily over 25 cars that have been tinted purely by hand, and not machined! and thats the whole car, Every front winshield and some cars have to be hand cut so there is no waste in film, b/c the computer cuts are not always perfect...My CAR is a perfect example. It still sounded like you were coming off knocking a shop that you had no clue about and yes I got the tint incorrectly, but I know their work, and word of mouth is extremely high for them, and they plan on running the show for awhile in this area!
