Default Tint question...

I just got my windows tinted yesterday at that spot off 29... forget the name... the shop windows are all tinted out in silver.. think its called LA tints... next to MVC.. anyways... i paid $260 (including tax) for brilliant 20 all around my car.. 4 door GLI. was that an ok price? Reason i got it cuz of the 51% heat rejection and that those perks you get with it.. but are all tints the same? .. plus i know i have to keep the windows up for 2 days but are those air bubbles going to go away? and theres like a little cut of tint on my rear window.. should i go back (since i have lifetime guarantee) ? i dont want to seem like a pesky customer you know? thanks.

I don't think there should be air bubbles...but after the 2-days if they don't look good to you for whatever reason, by all means use the guarantee and get it fixed. You definitely paid enough for it, you shouldn't settle for less.

you should see a few bubbles or what looks like streaking, but that will go away a few days after you have the tint on. As long as you actually keep the windows up for the recommended time.

Its actually called Express Tint. I paid $190 for standard black tint 20%. I dont think $260 is bad for the tint you got. I remember going to LA tint in Manassas, they wanted $300 for regular tint and no warranty.

my gti costed 180, my moms 4 door civic lx 06 costed 260, my friends corolla was like 250, my brothers g35 was like 200, and i was quoted 260 for the volvo im going to take tomorrow, but i think i might bargain with them cuz i take alot of cars their.

express tint ? fat guy is the main boss over there? ive had so many cars tinted over there, i can vouch for them, they hold up to their warranties and there good and fast.....they tell you once u get the tint to keep your windows up for 3 days and you might see small air bubbles thatll go away in a few weeks...but i have never seen any on the cars ive had done...infact im going tomorrow to get another car tinted for my dad over there.
