Default Quick ticket question

So Officer Bougllman decided to give me a vechicle violation ticket b/c my turn signals blink hyperwhite/blue. Anyways I got court Aug. 28th, I know I can prepay but from what I hear when you get a ticket like this you can just show a picture of your car, w/the correct modfications and your good (ex. tint). Anyone know any truth to this? Class starts at Maryland the 29th and I'll be there by then so I'm not sure if it worth comming back to Manassas if I cant get the ticket waived. Thanks, yo.

- on another note I have no idea how he saw my turn signals, he was behind me the whole time, like WTF!!

yeah present the judge with some form of proof you had changed it. like pictures or a receipt you bought to fix or a fix order will do.

You can do what others suggested, ut in the original lights, take a picture, go to court and most likely it will get dropped.

Second choice, prepay and be done with it since its not a moving violation.

Technically, they can still make you pay. But, if this is your first ticket for it, chances are, the jude will dismiss it. NEVER just pay a ticket. You're paying the maximum that way. Just go to court and a judge will usually give at least a little bit of a break.

You should plead not guilty, because by pleading guilty.....you are well........guilty. In that case the judge may suspend the fine, but your still stuck with paying the court costs which are like $60.

Most likely, the judge will dismiss it. If he does that, your free. But don't count on it. I went to court to fight an exhaust ticket, with pictures to show I had removed it. I was in there expecting it to get dismissed(cop didn't show up either), so what happened........after wasting 3 hours in court the judge continued it. However, the next date the judge did dismiss it though.

IMO, I'd fight it. Because should you get it dropped, its nice to know you don't have to give this shitty state any of your money.......this time
