my friends work at cici's, and apparently one of the managers has a modded GSR, maybe i can strike a deal with him :-p.

on the border is a bad idea only b/c the parking up there is almost impossible as is and add 200+ cars and its all screwed up.

There are pretty big parking garages on both sides of the restaurant.

I suggest we move the meet to a Wednesday night, a night that the restaurant is very slow. This way, we'll have lots of parking, and the restaurant will be happy because of the extra business. Not to mention Happy Hour specials

In addition to that, keep in mind that only a more mature crowd(hopefully) would be able to make it out on a school night, as opposed to a Friday. This may surpress the level of stupidity seen at previous meets :P

 

I didn't say it was ALWAYS the kids' faults, but for the MOST part, it is. I know a young guy organizes these meets, and I commend him for that, but when you have "kids" from 10+ different high schools hearing about this meet, they think it's a good opportunity to show off their cars, and they do, without realizing the consequences involved in doing so. Therefore, the civilized people are also punished by the stupid acts.

I DO know what I'm talking about. It's a damn fact that kids tend to drive faster and more recklessly than adults. Look at all the damn threads you see on this forum about people bitching about how they got a ticket. Most of them deserved it too.

 

look into a mall parking lot or somewhere like the old walmart off of 28 in LC so big where there will not be alot of people outside FFC

 

thats true about a lot of high school kids, not talking about you guys on this board or other ones that post of forum boards, there usually more mature..the ones im talkin of are those mangey butt thugs that have neons and a fart cannon and think if they rev at someone it gives them respect.
