how long does it take to get to va beach from dc metro? i plan on going home like every couple of weeks to show off the new whip to my peoples... joking but i do plan to go home quite a bit.

it will take you roughly 3.5 to 4hrs. I know it takes me 2.5 to 3hrs to get there from here in Newport News depending on traffic and my average speed.

i make mid 80s and live at home, so its not that hard. .. just saving up a nice deposit on a big house.

get an apartment with a garage (theives boo) save as much money as you can on living expenses and get the hell outta nova. YOULL SPEND SO MUCH MONEY JUST SITTING

OMG i just went to http://www.paycheckcity.com and put im how much i was planning to make and holy shit they take out a crap load. i make just a little bit less then that in the military... granted i have to deal with a bunch of ass holes...

if your worried about it, check the washington post (online), there are ALWAYS people looking for roomates. i was looking over the paper the other day and a roomate in nova for a house/townhouse averaged between $650-$1000 a month plus utilities.

DC is expensive period...70k/year you'lll be fine...try to find a townhome in maryland...its alittle bit cheaper in that area..

If my mortgage was $4k a month, I wouldn't be driving ANY car.. I'd make sure the 3 full time jobs I was working would be right next to eachother, and in walking distance from home.
