I might have to change my opinion on Japan Star. When I got the 3 motors I got to pick them out and saw all the stuff that would come with them. They delivered them and then a month later when I was working on the 2 remaining swaps i realized that they never brought over a starter and shift linkage that was supposed to come with the swap. I went by the shop and the guy that delivered the motors remembered me but the owner said too bad. So now I am short a starter and shift linkage.

they tape up all the openings and they chain it up to a fork lift and lift it over a tub and they spray chemicals and power wash it down with a powerwash gun. comes out very shinny, and saw them scrub up the little messy parts that didnt come off with a towel, they came out really clean and shinny
i asked if they charged extra for that service they said no, its just some costumers are inm a hurry so they just come and pick them up but some call and ask to get them clean or come by pick a motor and wait awhile for them to clean it and wrap them up with clear plastic stuff.

from exsperience man NOYAN ALL THE WAY the def know what they are talkin about and they will beat anyprice nice people to they will tell u whats up so go with them if u ever buy a motor that whole japan star place all around is soundin fishy

They are legit, you can inspect the motors and whatever you have a 30 day guarantee... what more can u ask for.

They are just guys that brings over motors, not experts, so don't flame on people who don't know thats trying to do what they can.

I know these guys, they are indeed very nice guys, there here to do business, not tech talk, thats just how some ppl are.....

I remember like 3 years ago Noyan had RHD front clips of autocrossing cars and the motors were beat to shit. Sold my friend a cracked trans, a blown b16... after a bunch of effort, calling the police and getting read to beat the shit out of the owner with a crow bar we got what we rightfully bought. Since than I have herd they came a long way and their business practices are pretty good now. Havent delt with them since my first encounter, hopefully they are all kosher now.

Anyone notice DOHC is spelled DOCH .

But anyways to the important stuff. We're coming down to JapanStar tommorow to pick up an engine and hopefully all goes well.
