I might have to change my opinion on Japan Star. When I got the 3 motors I got to pick them out and saw all the stuff that would come with them. They delivered them and then a month later when I was working on the 2 remaining swaps i realized that they never brought over a starter and shift linkage that was supposed to come with the swap. I went by the shop and the guy that delivered the motors remembered me but the owner said too bad. So now I am short a starter and shift linkage.

they tape up all the openings and they chain it up to a fork lift and lift it over a tub and they spray chemicals and power wash it down with a powerwash gun. comes out very shinny, and saw them scrub up the little messy parts that didnt come off with a towel, they came out really clean and shinny
i asked if they charged extra for that service they said no, its just some costumers are inm a hurry so they just come and pick them up but some call and ask to get them clean or come by pick a motor and wait awhile for them to clean it and wrap them up with clear plastic stuff.

They are legit, you can inspect the motors and whatever you have a 30 day guarantee... what more can u ask for.

They are just guys that brings over motors, not experts, so don't flame on people who don't know thats trying to do what they can.

I know these guys, they are indeed very nice guys, there here to do business, not tech talk, thats just how some ppl are.....

They get my A++

I remember like 3 years ago Noyan had RHD front clips of autocrossing cars and the motors were beat to shit. Sold my friend a cracked trans, a blown b16... after a bunch of effort, calling the police and getting read to beat the shit out of the owner with a crow bar we got what we rightfully bought. Since than I have herd they came a long way and their business practices are pretty good now. Havent delt with them since my first encounter, hopefully they are all kosher now.

Anyone notice DOHC is spelled DOCH .

But anyways to the important stuff. We're coming down to JapanStar tommorow to pick up an engine and hopefully all goes well.
