Some of the laws, in my opinion, are getting a little out of control. I understand the necessity to try and cut down on auto theft.. but why not do something proactive to prevent it instead of writing people tickets in their own driveway for having their car warming up?

As long as the hazard lights are on when the remote start is on, it shouldn't be a problem...

atleast thats what I heard when my boy was getting it installed on his car and that was about 2-3 years ago

What if you just ran in to get something real quick?

Oh well, I'm in a secluded neighborhood where barely any cops venture to.

I'm sure that my parents neighborhood is going to get raped with this. They went through a couple months ago and gave tickets to every car that was parked on the wrong side of the street.

wow.. haha... i got a ticket for that in charlottesville once.. was nowhere to park on the right side, so i swung over to the left and parked, didn't feel like doing a U-turn to park facing correct direction... also got a ticket there for leaving my car running while i ran inside to grab something
