It is now illegal to leave your car running and unattended even if it is in your driveway! So thoes mornings when its cold outside and you want to get into a warm car, cant do it anymore. Cops are roaming the neighborhoods and will be placing tickets on your windshield. The reason....they're trying to cut down on the amount of stolen cars in the area.

lame ass reason to put money in the cities pockets.
and since it's on the radio it means it's true.

Amen. If your car is on your property, I don't see why you can't leave it running. You should be able to leave your car running all day long on your property if you want.

Funny, I see cops running their squad cars without them being in there. Not that I have any problem with this, I don't really 'warm' up my car, I grab a coat and go!

I'm pretty sure this is more aimed at people leaving they cars running going into 7-11 getting a 40....not people warming up their cars in the neighborhood.

wow i didnt' think police can just drive on to your drive way and jsut issue tickets left and right. i thought it was sonsidered as private property, and that cops cannot enter the driveway unless you called them or some shit. honestly it's a BS law. FUCK VA!!!!! i'm moving somewhere cool.
