Default help painting rims

so my SI rims have rust and arent in that great of condition but i think itd be better than my 3 old school GSRs and my one Steelie.

so i decided that i wanted to paint my SI rims a different color. i was thinking Flat black, glossy black or gunmetal

what some good paint i could use? i was thinking engine paint or whatever i used to black out my headlights....

anyone have any good tips or products i could use to prep and paint my wheels and get the rust off....i got a bottle of Spray 9 and a lot of sand paper from my autotech class so im tryin to think what else i need from advance...simply green?

thanks

1. strip it with aircraft remover...u can get this at advanced auto...that'll strip the finish and leave it bare metal

2. sand it like 400-500 grit..i forgot what grit i used lol u can prob search on honda tech

3. primer

4. wetsand with finer grit sandpaper..then dry

5. multiple coats of whatever color u choose. i used duplicolor hi temp paint. engine paint would work too...jus nething that would put up with high temps. do many many thin coats...then finish it off with some clear coat
