if you re register the car be prepared to pay there personal taxes also, if the car isnt registered in the county you live in you have 30 days to change it back and emissions will still have to be done. If you do not comply you will be fined. Just get a EM1 si ecu, hook up the emissions bs pass the test and take it out.

im with you, i went into the dmv all prepaired with a adress and everything and all it is, is a small little line at the bottom of a page that asks where the vehicle is going to be stored. One little short line that only requires a one word answer (fishersville). The lady even told me that i was lucky because they didnt require emission testing in fishersville lol. i was like OMG really? thats so cool.

What's going on guys, thanks for all the help. I'm definately going to try the em1 ecu before I register in a diff. county. However my friend said that they are supposed to do a tailpipe emission inspection instead of the latter.

your friend is wrong then. obd2 cars they plug into the port n just check for codes.
