well here is the deal:

after most people left, about 15 cars left and all the cops left the garage, the director came down, we had a chat and this is what he said:

-WE ARE WELCOME BACK

-he was disgusted by how the cops came down and harrased us and he promised that it will not happen next time

-He believes that it is better for us to be in there , and not out on the streets messin around

-as a former FBI employee he told us about all the illegal things the cops did and told us that by law they have to have permission by HIM to ticket people on the property, and he said he would never have done so

so basically, he wants us back and he said he is going to keep the cops out next time!

continuing in our conversation, the director is making plans with tower records and the movie theater and local shops in the center to sponsor a car show for us, with judging and everything... he is even trying to get local bands down through tower records....



overall - great meet for crap weather, i would easily say over 125+ cars through out the night, the whole 3rd floor confusion was a mess, we only have permission to be in the basement!

oh and hahahaha the director said no one could hear us down there!!! no one in the town center heard all that unnessasary revving, damn ricers ( yea u have a turbo rx-7, i think we can figure out ur fast....)

great meet, great spot, great test ( next month we will know what we are up against and we will be ready ) just needed a little fine tuning.

its 2 am and i`m tired so i will post everything i`m too lazy to type or forgot about tomorrow hahaha

next month we will be back, full force, nice weather

and yes there is a basement!

Anyways what's up everyone, that was an awesome meet! Sorry I didn't stick around, I rolled out with some people (the z06 and Tony's orange procharged mustang) up to Baja Fresh. Good times! The cops were simply insane, I had to jump in my car to move it before that one cop rolled by and saw it all slanted in the parking spot. I was going to look for my front plate but as long as no one was in/near the car they cant really give me a ticket.

The idea of a real sponsored meet over there sounds sweeeet, let me know if I can help.

I didn't get pictures, too busy with all the drama.. saw a lot of people with cameras though.

Good to know... i decided to stay home tonight and finish up on preping my car for painting... i'll show up at the next meet with a fresh coat and a new engine...

Im surprised that he wants us back after all that. I think the basement there was completely full and poeple would soon have to start parking on the ramp to come down.
I will give him a call later to talk wiht him. soon as the cops got out of the way the friends i was there wiht convinced me to leave.

are you kidding me? i was one of the most quietest there... i never reved once and parked quietly... i didn't wanna get anyone pissed and in my opinion, I hate when people rev, since it just makes us have to go sooner... so it wasn't me! btw, i didn't see any other rx7s...

 

E36DJ and ReDc0aT, I saw both of your cars and I was gonna complement them, but I couldn't find the owner. I saw a bunch of people talking outside your car E36, but didn't wanna just jump in and be like "hi, who's car is this." also, redcoats, no one was around your car... finally, sounds really gay, but we should post headshots before we go so we could regognize people...

 

There was one other Yellow RX-7.
It had a litte revving session with the 300zx earlier, i think before you got there Rxtacy.
