I have about 5-8 door dings on one side of my car. I know for a fact that some shops charge about $50-75 per ding. I have heard people going to places that charge only $100 per panel for unlimited dings. So does anyone know any good shops to take car to have the dings removed?

Phonebook! Look it up, a lot of the guys are running thier own buisness out of their own van. These guys make ass-loads of money, talk to a few and find the cheapest. You can talk the privately owned guys down to a more reasonable price also. I work with a couple of them and got my whole car pulled for $100.

 

the guy that goes around to the local dealerships charges $50 a panel. Of course when you know him personally I get mine taken out for free

I know that Alexandria Toyota has some asian guy that is a master at pulling dings and dents. My friend bought a used TL from there, and was having that shitty transmission replaced when a fence fell on his car at the dealership, it looked HORRIBLE. However they informed me that they could salvage the hood and have their "guy" come take care of it...when he got the car back it looked like a brand new hood.
