I used to live behind the Glory days down the street.

my commute from that house to Tysons corner was around 30 minutes if there was no accident.. and around 45 minutes or more if there was a wreck or soemthing..

My travel times are as follows.

430am - 7am, 10am-430pm, 630pm - 430am

Why is it that people only take Major roads? I mean theres something called backroads / neighborhoods ( does not mean i speed thru em)

And from my house, to tysons 1 galleria (highway route),

Telegraph, to 95, to rt7 (at speeds of 60-65) takes me 10-15 minutes

Whereever i drive, i go the opposite way of traffic, so it cuts times down.

I live in Centreville and travel to tysons at the time. I leave about an hour before. Sometimes it only takes 30 minutes but then others an hour. It all depends on the days. Since summer is starting kids will be out which means less people on the roads in the morning for parents that have kids. Usually thursday's and friday's are a breeze.

your commute will be shorter in the next few weeks, school ends = no more traffic (well not as bad)
