i just dropped out of VCU.
personally, richmond drove me fucking nuts.
nice classes, fun social life and shit, but richmond, for me, sucked ass. hated.. not every minute, but i did get depressed alot. good luck there

 

yea i was gonna go there for a year with some of my buddies. we got a house but if i liked it i was gonna stay but if i didnt i was gonna transfer to tech or jmu or something not sure yet

 

im there right now and i have a great time. if you like the city kind of environment you'll have fun... i'll be going into my 3rd year in the fall

 

my gf goes to vcu i don't really like it im not a big fan of city colleges but if u wanna go party and have fun its pretty cool or if ur gonna do something along the lines of medicene its a good school

 

I went there for a year and came back to NOVA after that. The partys suck, its a armpit of a city, and if your not 21 there aint much to do since there is no huge party houses.

 

i've been to VCU a once or twice, didn't really like it too much. But like everywhere it depends on who you know

 

i been to VCU and Richmond a couple times. some of my friends go there and they got robbed a couple times and one night some homeless person was chasing them after they refused to give the guy money. i also drove through the area a couple times...pretty ghetto.

 

i currently go to VCU and its alright. Car scene is alright. The school is okay too. Really really diverse. Some say too diverse. Theres also a very large punk rock(?) scene. the nancy reagan is a popular spot if you're into that. Around the area is pretty ghetto.
