Any good places to camp?
hey guys,
I want to take the wife out camping like we used to do on the west coast. None of this gameroom, swimming pool, playground camping stuff. I want to be semi-secluded. I dont see much of that around here. Anyone have any good tips on where to find a secluded campground that isnt all fancy? I want to "rough it" but not get shot for being on someones property. So i would prefer it be an actual campground, but a primitive rugged one that doesnt have the campsites 2 feet from eachother. You know, alittle privacy? Pretty much anywhere in Va from Centeral UP?

Check out the national parks out in the Shenandoah Valley. Shenandoah National Park, George Washington National Forest are a few parks that ring a bell. They are all large and out along the I-81 corridor probably at least 90 mins from Fairfax.
