OK... the transmission for the lightning is a 4r100 automatic transmission and I'm looking to beef it up with a monster box kit but i dont feel like paying $3100 for the whole new transmission so i want to rebuild my current transmisison with the rebuild kit. Anyone know of a good tranmission place that I can trust to do the job right???

 

I would strongly advise staying away from Price's Transmission on Witchduck Road. When I was having problems with my Laser, they wanted $300 just to open it up and that is before they do any work at all. It's a scam and a half.

 

i had my truck worked on in hampton at bwm mototrs had no problems what so ever very quick service, had it put it wensday and had it back sat. talk to jason his grandfather owns the place he will make sure your car gets running right again.

 

Yorktown Tranmissions. Rebuilt mine, then replaced the entire thing AFTER the warranty ran out. Good people
