It only did it when I made u-turns and only when I had those 195/55 and the Azenis. I can't recall it happenening when I put the new Ziex's on it, but whatever.

 

no i dont hear any rubbing at all actually, but i just notice it onthe tires like small streaks, but no noise...so im guessing its fine.

 

God I hope 14in. is not the minimum.... im sittin like 2 inches of the ground.... and I can, and will, go lower!!!!

 

It's 14" from the actual metal bumper bar behind the plastic bumper cover.

It doesn't. Maybe on u-turns it MIGHT rub a tad bit, but it didn't for me when I put different tires on it. If a police officer stopped him driving down the road and looked you wouldn't be able to see tire touching anywhere.

yea it doesnt rub at all...maybe on uturns but even then i dont hear anything....and im guessing i got a ticket for it ONLY because i was abusing my no tag transportation paper to go to Giant....not really a problem anymore though and i took the front bumper off to measure what it was at and it was like 13 on the dot from the top of the metal bar.......go figure....i could careless about the height unless i get tickets for it nonstop when a cop sees me....

i guess what im trying to say is....altered suspension ticket is not something your gonna get pulled over for...its gonna be the extra additional ticket that the cop will give you while hes got you pulled over for whatever reason it is...

 

measure to the MIDDLE of the bar, not the top...

 

hahahha i got one of the tickets and the cop told me i was at 13 inches in three different spots on the front bumper, soo i went home and measured it myself and to mysuprise i was at 13 3/4 so the cop lied and said i was lower then i really was. and he also gave me an exhaust ticket and to top it all off who on here has heard of an " insufficient tire tread" ticket he was talkin about teh miniscule amount of camber wear thats on my tires. im fightin the hell out these tickets

 

I got one before when I had a honda. I then looked for the exact same car as mine but stock height, put my license plate over top of theirs, snapped a quick pic, took my plate back and showed the judge on my court date.....case dismissed.


I've seen your old hatch rolling around my town Ritz, it looked clean so I assume Crazy is taking care of it.
